It's been forever since I even signed in to blogger. I've been really sick lately, which both blows bubbles AND sucks lollies. But I guess that gives me a little bit of time to write a post, doesn't it?

The most expensive Shoes in the world are priced at 2 million dollars, from Stuart Weitzman. These sandals are made of silver leather and 185 CARATS of Tanzanite. (Tanzanite is a gemstone found only in Africa.) They have about 28 carats of diamonds, which is why I would never want to walk around in them. Maybe it sounds mean, but who would? You go outside to get into the car, and BAM! A little mud goes a long way. And really, though they are fabulous looking, you couldn't wear them more than a few times if you want to keep them totally pristine. Oh,well. They do look awesome....

The Pretty Committee project

As the school year approaches, my newest scheme does, as well. The Pretty Committee project, also known as IAN (Infiltrating the Above Normals) will be taking off the first day of my 8th grade year.
The project, to sum it up, basically goes: Locate, Examine, Infiltrate, Manipulate.
Locate: Locate Nathanael Greene's Pretty Committee (Every school has one)
Examine: Examine the hierarchy, the methods and the habits of said PC.
Infiltrate: Immediately change according to newly acquired information
Manipulate: Switch the hierarchy according to my whim. Break head leader and ultimately disassemble the PC.

Before I retire...HAR-LEY!!

I'm going to inform you all of something now; I used to think that people who were obsessed with cartoon characters were freaks. Until I heard of Harley Quinn. And now, I am a die-hard lover, her (self-appointed) number one fan. I know, silly, isn't it?
And now, for those of you who don't know who Harley Quinn is, I'll tell you. She is probably the most famous female Batman villain ever, with Catwoman as a close second. That is, of course, in my own opinion. She is DESPERATELY in love with the Joker, HIS self-appointed girlfriend. And for those of you who want more information than you already have or are just curious, I have a bio prepared just for you! *grins*

Born Harleen Francis Quinzel, she spent most of her days and nights growing up in Gotham City. Through her school-life, Harley (as she had everyone call her) was often more interested in boys then grades. But then again, what girls aren't? She was very determined, however, to get into gymnastics. This interest later led to a scholarship. Harley ALSO, by chance, loved Psychology. She was booted right into the Gotham City University, where she didn't get high marks, but instead used her stunning beauty to seduce her teacher.
Her professor gave her a perfect score for that year (what a shock) and Harley immediately applied as an intern at Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane. That's where she met Dr. Joan Leland, and also, incidentally, the Joker. Harley actually only applied at Arkham, despite her interest in Psychology, to write a tell-all book about the criminals there and cash it in for fame.
Harley fell head over heels in love with the Clown Prince of Crime and spent over three months begging for a session. When Dr. Leland finally agreed, Harley used up her time studying the Ace of Knaves' tricks and gimmicks until she felt she was 'ready for anything.' However, for all her research, she still was more unprepared for the Joker's maniacal ways than she'd originally thought.
The Joker had immediately pegged Harley as someone he could manipulate and play with, so in response, he developed a whole web of lies to win over her heart and mind. The Joker told her about his 'abusive father', his 'runaway mom', and his encounters with Batman, twisting Harley's mind until she had almost no choice but to feel anything but love and pity.
When the Joker escaped from Arkham, Harley went crazy with worry. She kept stacks of newspapers that told all of the mischief the Joker had created in the week he escaped. Soon, however, Batman brought Harley's love back in the form of a bloody pulp. Harley's mind completely snapped then, and she ran from the asylum in hysterics.
She drove to a nearby costume shop, where she took a Harlequin costume and other supplies. Took, meaning stole, as she beat up the manager and walked out without paying. Donning on the costume and make-up, Harley snuck back into Arkham, taking out the guards and gassing the doctors before putting a bomb on the glass wall over the Joker's cell. This broke the wall, freeing the Joker and Harley Quinn (as was her new name) to go and create a new life together.
Or so Harley assumed.
However, Harley didn't count on the Joker's wavering affection, and was surprised by the way he beat and screamed at her. But that never dissuaded her from returning back to him after their spats were over.
Harley also has a friendly relationship with Pamela Isley, also known as Poison Ivy. After the Joker kicked her out, Harley took refuge at Ivy's place. But, like I said before, this only lasted a short while before Harley needed her "Puddin'" once again.
Although the Joker has completely snapped Harley's mind, she remains, deep down or not, a sweet and charming young lady. Yay!

Okay, wow. This has to be the longest post I've ever done. And the sad part is, the only reason I'm stopping is because I have to go to sleep. Ugh. But I hope you enjoyed my little biography of the best villainess in the entire comic universe!

The Lightning Thief Review

Now, as someone who has read all the books and thinks about them on a daily basis, this movie wasn't all that great. However, as someone who just enjoys watching movies, I loved it! Sean Bean, according to Mom, is 'very pretty'. Whatever that means. But I liked the jokes, the action was good and the CG was especially decent. Not gonna lie, though, I HAVE seen better acting, and the cast was awful when it came to matching their character's looks, but it was a whole bunch of fun to see. The movie would have been better, though, had it, you know, matched a single part of the book. Lol. But, like I said, it was very, very good. I definitely recommend it! So, see it and...

When you're living in the ghetto,
Chasing mice out of your room,
beating flies with any handy thing,
You can only just assume;
that someone has it twice as worse,
or maybe even thrice:
It could be rats inside your room,
instead of measly mice.
You could have not a thing to smash
the flies against the wall.
You could be living in a box
and not have walls at all.
You might complain of rotting meals
left from lack of care,
but really, who's the one to fault
for dumping chicken there?
What if, my fellow reader,
the chicken wasn't there at all?
and instead you had nothing to eat,
when the sun begins to fall?
And ponder this humble concept;
how your parents love you so,
but if someone had it twice as worse,
we wouldn't even know.

2: Dinner Cupcake: Well, Well, Well. What have we? This Dinner Cupcake is very creative and cute. It reminds me -reluctantly- of the time I brought a sackful of Halloween candy to school for lunch.

3: Cookie Monster Cupcake: My nephew, The Monster, is true to his name. He loves Cookie Monster, and this one made me think of him. With the googly eyes and the choco chip disc-o-fun in his mouth, it brings back good memories.

4: Tea Set Cupcake: I like this one, if only for the thought that it's amazing how one person can fit all that onto a cupcake. Very nice.
